A Snowball’s Chance – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 1-Star Quest, A Snowball’s Chance. We’re off to the Frost Islands to hunt a Lagombi. You’ll find the location of the Lagombi highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.

Monster Hunter Rise
Lagombi attacks using sliding moves across the snow and by throwing large snowballs at the hunter. Overall you shouldn’t have too much of an issue with this fight. If you’re quick, when he begins his sliding you can use a sonic bomb to disrupt his attack and knock him over, this will leave him very vulnerable to attack for a short while.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Lagombi can include; Lagombi Pelt, Lagombi Plastron, Lagombi Iceclaw, Jumbo Bone, Lagombi Ear, and Beast Tear.
