Magic (Green) Materia Guide

Here you’ll find a list of all the Magic (Green) Materia found in Final Fantasy VII (FF7, FFVII). Magic Materia when equipped, gives your character access to a new spell to cast both in and out of battle. Often as Magic Materia grows and levels up it will gain access to higher-tier spells, Materia will level up as it gains AP after a battle, only equipped Materia will gain the AP from the battle though.

It’s also possible to put Magic Materia into a linked Materia slot where you can pair it with Support Materia to give it additional attributes, such as targeting all allies or enemies. An example is linking an All Materia with a Cure Materia, you’ll change it from a single target heal spell to a spell that targets your entire party.
