Serutabomac Shrine Walkthrough – The Way Up Trial

Enter the Serutabomac Shrine by climbing the waterfall north of Hyrule Castle if you have a piece of the Zora set, or by gliding from Lookout Landing’s Skyview Tower. Be sure to bring plenty of stamina replenishment options if you’re gliding though.

Inside you’ll begin “The Way Up” Trial. A test of your use of Links Ascend and Ultrahand Abilities.

As you enter, use Ultrahand to pick up the metal panel on the floor and place it ontop of the two protruding beams on the wall. Then use your Ascend ability to climb ontop of the platform and then continue on to the next puzzle.

Here in the second area, use Ultrahand to fuse the panels on the floor to create one long straight piece. Prop it up on the single beam coming out of the wall the create a ramp for yourself to climb up and out of this area. Continue on to the next puzzle.

The third puzzle here contains the Treasure Chest, to reach it you’ll need to create a “U” shape with the three sections that are available here. There are two short pieces and one long piece. Use the long piece as the middle portion of the “U” shape. So it will be a short piece on the left and right, fused at 90 degree angles to the long piece in the middle. Pick it up and turn it so that one of the short pieces is at the base now, it should now look like a “C” shape.

Carry the “C” over to the area with spikes on the floor and use the bottom piece to cover some of the spikes, this will allow you to climb on and then Ascend to ontop of the “C” shape. From here you can access the chest to obtain a Magic Wand.

Jump down and use your Ultrahand ability to break apart the pieces, fuse them into one single long piece now. Then stack it up against the wall, like in the second puzzle, to reach the Light of Blessing.
