Tales of Berseria - Skits List for Fighal Icecaps

Once Velvet wakes up after the events of the Prison Break in Titania, you’ll be thrown into a battle with a Werewolf and Eagle enemy. Finish them off quickly and you’ll trigger the skits; Washed Ashore, The Boy Malak’s Healing Artes, and The Witch’s Vagaries. Open the chest for 320 Gald, use the nearby save point if you need it as well, it’s probably been a while since you’ve seen one.

You’ll start to notice enemies patrolling the map from here on out. If you touch them it will trigger an encounter. Take your time and fight as many as you want. As long as you stay near a save point, you’ll never have to worry too much about your HP as touching it will replenish you to full. Taking the time to fight enemies also ensures that your party doesn’t fall behind in levels which can make parts of the game far harder than they need to be.

Continue through the area, you’ll eventually trigger a scene between Rokurou and Magilou. Afterward, head to the chest on the south side of the upper level containing a Life Bottle. Head north after grabbing it to trigger the last Skit of the area; Prisoner’s Tales. Once that’s over continue forward and you’ll be given the item “Ten Gallon Hat” as well as an explanation of the Katz Boxes.

Katz Boxes

A Katz Box will appear on every map of the game. Each of them cost a certain amount of spirits to open. Every 2nd box you open will give you an item, so skipping them will not help speed up the process. The items contained inside them are mostly Cosmetic items to change the look of your character.

Going north you’ll run into the Malak from before once again. This time he’ll return the compass he stole. Once thats over continue down the path after him, when it splits you’ll have the option to climb some vines to collect some Sage. Jump back down the cliff and continue Northeast to find Hellawes.

You’ll automatically trigger the Skit, Through The Storehouse, check the storehouse before you leave for some items, including; a life bottle, and 480 Gald. Exit the building and you’ll be on the docks. If you check the southeast corner you’ll find a chest with a Fire Ring inside, be sure to equip it. In the centre of the dock area you’ll overhear some kids talking about Artorius, once thats over you can search the Northern part of the docks for a chest with a Life Bottle inside.

Take the Western exit from the Docks, into the town. Head towards the center of town, you’ll be able to pass behind the buildings on the Northside to find a Lavender item. You can continue to follow the path to a nearby ladder. Climb it and continue forward to find both an Amber Garment and a Blood blade. Start to make your way to the map marker once you’ve got everything to trigger the next skit: Finding The Shipping Guild.

After thats over, speak to the guild members. You’ll also find our next Katz Box next to the Shipping Guild. Behind the nearby inn is another chest, this time containing an Amber Fragment. Enter the inn to speak with one of the patrons about Lady Teresa.

Outside the Weapon Shop, you’ll find Rokurou, speaking to him will trigger the skit: Magilou Departs. If you go south you’ll find a Yak, moving close to it will trigger some dialogue with Rokurou. Make sure to rest at the Inn, to trigger another Skit: Private Training, this is one of the first missable Skits, so make sure you grab it now!

Finish up by speaking to any other townsfolk that have bubbles above their heads, start to make your way back to the docks once you’re done. One of the sailors here has more information about Flamestone if you feel like asking around. Otherwise, head back into the Warehouse, we entered through, and sneak back out into the Fighal Icecaps area. We’re going to be making our way towards the next in-game area, Beardsley.

Continue to the Northwest to find a small patch of Princessia Flowers, this will trigger the Skit: Broiling Hatred, afterward head south towards the marker on the map. You’ll eventually come into the town of Beardsley.

Watch the scenes as you enter the town, and afterward, the Skits: The Apples Taste followed by Abbey Inspector On Patrol. Continue towards the southwest and you’ll happen upon another Yak that Rokurou will interact with. In town you’ll find a chest with 450 Gald, some Saffron up the path, another chest with a Twin Charm and also our next Katz Box. Remember that every second box you open will have an accessory in it. So theres no point skipping boxes.

Head into the centre of the town and find the man kneeling down, speak to him before heading for the North exit out of town. You’ll trigger a Tutorial on how to have your characters cook food after battle here. Finish the Tutorial to view the Skit: No More Taste, after its over you’ll also be able to view Swords and Spirits. Take the exit out of town and head for our next destination, Hadlow Hollow.

Just north of the Exit out of town is an entrance to the cave called Hadlow Hollow. Once you enter Hadlow Hollow you can find a chest, to the north, in a nearby dead-end containing an Apple Gel. Head back and continue west, you’ll find another dead end containing a chest with 500 Gald here. To the northeast you’ll find a boulder, when you approach it a scene will trigger, the boulder will smash and you’ll find a Katz Box behind it. Head to the Northern exit from here.

Clear the area and jump across the section of the floor with Tar. From this second large room, you’ll find an exit to the southwest that will lead to a chest containing Shadow Daggers, grab them and head back, before continuing through the Northwest exit to trigger a skit: That’s Not How The Saying Goes.

Here you’ll find a large Bat enemy with a cloud surrounding it to the North. This is a great time to test out the quick save feature of the game before triggering the battle with it, otherwise, if you’re defeated you’ll go back to your last save point.

Tales of Berseria - Skits List for Hellawes (2nd Visit)

Once you’re back in Hellawes there are a few people to speak to; head to the woman at the church to hear about a volcano to the north, then head over to the shipping guild to trigger a cutscene. This will give you the ability to begin to enhance your equipment, this is incredibly useful and important to stay on top of as the game progresses. As a general rule you can safely dismantle any duplicate weapons or armour you might be holding.

After thats over head back into the Fighal Icecaps to trigger: Sailing Isn’t Easy, continue south towards the boat you orginally arrived on to trigger: Can Daemons Become Human Again. You’ll also trigger a cutscene when you speak to the members of the shipping guild here doing the repairs.

Once the scenes are finished you’ll need to head back toward Hellawes. On the way there you’ll trigger: Hellawes On Guard, now start to make for Hadlow Hollow instead. Once you enter Hadlow Hollow you’ll be able to view: A Villian’s Approach and Maintaining Blades, both of these are optional so make sure to trigger them. Once you’re at Hadlow Hollow simply warp into where Dyle was to view a cutscene and the skit: Rokuro’s Debt. Head back to the entrance of Hadlow Hollow to find Dyle there, speak with him. Once you head outside you’ll trigger: That Reminds Me… watch the scene and then when you’re ready head to Hellawes Front Gate to fight the two Guards there.

Once you’re inside Hellawes there isn’t much to do except continue on to the objective marker. When you reach it you’ll trigger a bunch of fights against Orderlies, none of which should give you much trouble, until Teresa joins the fight.

Boss Battle: Teresa

Rewards:Paladin's Ventite
Tales Of Berseria - Hellawes Boss Battle Teresa

Teresa will fight with two tethered Malak’s by her side. Try to focus on taking out the Malak’s first to make the fight go alittle easier. Use non-elemental attacks for the Malak’s and Water based attacks on Teresa once she is alone. When she reaches low enough health she will gain access to a spell called “Northern Lights” which is highly damaging. Avoid this if at all possible. Eventually, she will go down and trigger a cutscene and the Skit: Taking The Boy.

Paladin’s Ventite
