Abyss Worm Guide
The Abyss Worm is typically found in the Desert areas of Final Fantasy VIII (FF8, FFVIII). It begins the battle with the majority of its body hidden underground until it takes sufficient damage. It is a great source of the Tornado spell, which can be drawn and stocked from it.
The Abyss Worm is weakest against Wind and Water spells, both of which can be drawn from it and used. You can junction Earth to your elemental defense to resist the bulk of its attacks.
Its Triple Triad card can be refined into Windmills, which then refine further into the powerful Tornado spell.
