Banbaro Blockade Monster Hunter World Iceborne Assignment Quest

Our next Assignment Quest in Monster Hunter World Iceborne is called Banbaro Blockade. The Chief needs us to head into the Hoarfrost Reach and secure a supply line to Seliana.

This is against another of Iceborne’s new monsters, the Banbaro. Banbaro is a large Moose/Beaver monster that likes to charge at you, similar to our old friend the Barroth. His charge attacks take on elemental blights based on his location so here it’s Ice Blight. If you run into him in the Wildspire Waste it will take on Water Blight and in the Elder’s Recess it takes on Fire Blight. Some of Banbaro’s attacks have a very large or fast-moving AOE to them, using your ‘superman-dive’ to avoid them is the easiest, and most forgiving way, to deal with them.

Banbaro is weakest to Dragon followed by the Fire elements, aim for the head and legs, as they are its weakest points. You can break the head, legs, and sever the tail as well.

If you are finding this quest difficult remember to double-check your armor. You’re in Master-Rank now so do some expeditions and gather some new materials to form stronger armor if needed.
