Our next Optional Quest is Bazelgeuse In The Field Of Fire in Monster Hunter World Iceborne. This quest unlocks after you’ve captured the following monsters; Kula-Ya-Ku, Barroth, Paolumu, and Odogaron. We’ll be heading off to the Elder’s Recess once you’ve unlocked it.
Bazelgeuse is weak to multiple elements including; Thunder, Dragon, Ice, and Water. Its weak points are the head, wings, and tail. You can also sever or break its head, wings, body, and tail.
Bazelgeuse is a huge nuisance with its exploding scales and constant fly-bys. You can attack and ‘break’ the scales beneath its body, especially if you’ve knocked it down. Sever the tail as well to reduce the amount of scales it can drop. Bring Fire Resistance for this fight to minimize the damage you’ll take from all of its attacks. The Fireproof Mantle is extremely useful for fighting this monster as well.
