Claymore Guide
The Claymore is one of the many Greatswords found in Elden Ring. It scales with Dexterity and Strength. This Greatsword features sweeping attacks as well as a powerful thrust in its moveset and works well as a 1 or 2-Handed Sword or if a character is strong enough. Very versatile weapon.
A large sword with a long, straight blade. This heavy sword is usually wielded with two hands, but for those with enough strength, one is sufficient.
In addition to the heavy sweeping attacks, it can also make a heavy piercing thrust making this a versatile weapon.

Where to find the Claymore
The Claymore can be found in Castle Morne. From the courtyard, you’ll need to head to the right, past the pile of corpses surrounded by Misbegotten. Follow the path to the entrance to the building in the north, you’ll find the Claymore inside the building in a chest just to the left as you enter. You may need to take out any Misbegotten that followed you here as well.

The Claymore requires 16 Strength and 13 Dexterity to wield, it begins with a D Scaling in both Strength and Dexterity.
Ash of War
The Claymore can be infused with other Ashes of War.
This Greatsword features a unique roll/attack thrust which is very powerful, it can also be accessed through the regular heavy attack.

Patch Notes
As of Patch 1.09, Greatswords were significantly buffed which has also applied to the Claymore.
