Dino Bone Guide

Dino Bone is a Miscellaneous item found in Final Fantasy VIII Remastered (FF8, FFVIII) it is used in weapon crafting and for creating Quake Magic. Dino Bone is typically obtained as a drop or steal from the T-rexaur enemy in Final Fantasy VIII. It can also be obtained in a few other ways, which are shown below.

The Dino Bone is used as an upgrade material for Squall’s Twin Lance and Irvine’s Exeter weapons. It can also be refined into the powerful Quake Magic spell. Quake is most useful as a junction for HP, Strength, Magic, or Hit %.

How to Find Dino Bone in the Early Game

In order to obtain Dino Bone as early as possible, you’ll need to use the Card Mod ability on the T-rexaur, Armadodo, or Sacred Cards, which are relatively easy cards to obtain if you play plenty of card games.
