Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 6-Star Hub Quest, Do It For The Dango! We’re off to the Flooded Forest to hunt a Nargacuga and a Jyuratodus. You’ll find the location of them both highlighted on the map so they’ll be no issue to track down.

Grrrr! Stupid. Monsters. Everywhere! Why won’t they leave me alone? I go to one fishing spot – Monster. I go to a different spot – ANOTHER MONSTER. Why are they so rude!? Can you go let those meanies know just how mad I am!?

Nargacuga

Nargacuga is a Flying Wyvern Class Monster found in the Shrine Ruins and Flooded Forest. It is weak to Thunder, Fire, and Dragon elemental damage.

Nargacuga is extremely fast. You’ll need to let it wear itself out a little before beginning the fight, similar to what we do with a Tigrex. The attack you need to learn is its tail slam, which can easily remove 1/2 the Health of an unprepared hunter.

Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Nargacuga can include; Nargacuga Pelt +, Nargacuga Scale +, Nargacuga Fang +, Narga Razor, Narga Tailspike, Nargacuga Tail, Narga Medulla, Wyvern Gem, Nargacuga Marrow, Wyvern Tear, and Large Wyvern Tear.

Jyuratodus

Jyuratodus is a Piscine Wyvern Class Monster found in the Flooded Forest. It is weak to both Fire and Thunder elemental damage.

Jyuratodus will try to make use of its mud and Waterblight, similar to how Barroth also uses them. Simply remember to bring Nullberries to remove the Waterblight. Focus on knocking the mud off of Jyuratodus first, this will expose its soft hide to your attacks.
