Dragged Through The Mud Monster Hunter World Optional Quest

The next Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World Iceborne is Dragged Through The Mud, a Master-Rank Barroth hunt in the Wildspire Waste.

Barroth’s weaknesses are tricky as they change based on his state. That is when it is covered in mud it is weak to Water, when not covered in mud it is weak to Fire and at all times sports a small weakness to Ice. The best bet is to stick to an Ice element weapon, this bypasses the changing resistances it gains when it either is or is not covered in mud.

Barroth’s weak points are the front arms and tail. Its breakable points are the; head, back legs, front arms, tail (severable). The scalp can also be knocked off and carved.

At Master-Rank Barroth carves will include the following; Barroth Chine, Barroth Hardclaw, Barroth Cortex, Barroth Lash, Barroth Crown, and Large Wyvern Gem.
