Our next Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World Iceborne is the Master-Rank Quest, Fools Mate. This sees us back into the Ancient Forest to hunt a Rathian.
Dear God… One of my researchers is absolutely obsessed with a particular Rathian he has been observing. So much so that he rarely returns to base anymore to report. I ask that you do something about it before things gets… weird.

Rathian is weak to Dragon and Thunder elements. Its weak points are the head, wings, and tail. You can break or sever the head, wings, back, and tail.
Come prepared with Antidotes and fire-resistance for this fight. In Master-Rank a new Poison status called Noxious Poison was introduced, which can make quick work of your health bar if you are not careful. Full Poison immunity is what is recommended, but if you can’t spare the Jewels or don’t have the correct armor, just bring a ton of Antidotes.
