Grizzly Glutton – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 2-Star Quest; Grizzly Glutton. We’re off to the Shrine Ruins to slay an Arzuros. You’ll find the location of Arzuros highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
This is terrible…If it goes on eating this much, there won’t be a single fish left for us to catch! Hunt that thing before all the fish totally vanish from our rivers, will ya?
Master Angler of Kamura – Monster Hunter Rise
Arzuros only has a few attacks you need to be aware of if you’re playing melee. He has the ability to jump backward hitting you if you’re directly behind him. To combat his backward attack, simply attack him from a slight angle if you are hitting him from the back. By staying off to either side of his behind, he’ll need to rotate to line up the attack, giving you an obvious movement to look out for to dodge the attack.
He also has a series of claw swipes you need to watch for, he’ll follow up the first swipe a series of 3 times, but they can be delayed alittle. Wait for him to completely finish the series of attacks before moving in, as he will turn a considerable amount while doing this attack, so you may end up either out of range, or getting hit by one of the follow up attacks.
Carves, Drops and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Arzuros can include; Arzuros Shell, Arzuros Pelt, Arzuros Brace, Jumbo Bone, Honey, Beast Tear, Sushifish, and Goldenfish.
