Ice Catch Monster Hunter World Iceborne

Our next Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World Iceborne is Ice Catch, a capture quest for a Master-Rank Beotodus. This quest is part of a chain that unlocks “This Heres Big Horn Country” once completed.

Beotodus is one of the new monsters in Iceborne, it behaves much like Jyuratodus, except in snow instead of water. It will cover its weak points in snow that will need to be broken before you can access the bonus damage for hitting weak points. Just like Jyuratodus and his Mud.

Beotodus is weakest to Fire and Thunder elements. It is also immune to Ice, Dragon, and quite resistant to Water damage. Its weak points are the head and tail, both of which are also breakable along with the main body of Beotodus.

Carves from Master-Rank Beotodus can include; Beotodus Shard, Beotodus Cortex, Beotodus Hardhorn, Beotodus Grandfin, Cryo Sac, and Large Wyvern Gem.
