Man’s Best Fiend Monster Hunter World Optional Quest

Our next optional quest in Monster Hunter World is Man’s Best Fiend, it’s another capture quest, this time for Odogaron in the Rotten Vale. Completing this quest also unlocks the next Optional Quest, Special Arena: Odogaron.

Like all the previous capture quests be sure not to kill Odogaron, you want to weaken it until it visibly limps, trap it and then capture it with tranq bombs. This quest will be failed if you accidentally slay Odogaron. Be sure to bring traps and tranq bombs for this quest.

Odogaron is weak to Ice and Thunder, in that order. Its weak spots are the head, front claws, and tail. You can also break its head and front claws, it’s also possible to sever the tail.
