Monster Hunter World Gettin Yolked In The Forest Quest

Gettin Yolked in the Forest is our next Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World. We need to retrieve and deliver 2 Wyvern Eggs from the Ancient Forest.

The easiest way to complete this quest is to gain access to the camp in area 17. If you dont already have access then leave Astera on an expedition into the Ancient forest and climb up to Area 17 and look for the large clearing which will prompt the handler to let you know this would be a great area for a camp. Return to Astera and speak with the 3 NPC’s who give you the timed research quest rewards to the left of where you spawn into Astera. They will ask you to complete a gathering quest to gain access to the Area 17 camp. Turn it in and then return to the Delivery quest.

Start off the quest in area 17 and head up to the Rathian Nest from there. Once in the nest take an egg from it and go down the ramp. At the base of the ramp head north and look for a shortcut back into Area 17, its accessible even if you are holding the egg. Return the egg to the delivery box and repeat this once more.

After the initial egg is dropped off a Rathian will spawn on the map to pursue you, however if you are fast you will not run into her at all.

On the off chance you are having trouble, use the ghillie mantel before grabbing the second egg, so that monsters will leave you alone until you’ve completed the delivery.
