New World Problems Monster Hunter World Iceborne Optional Quest

Our next Master-Rank Optional Quest is called New World Problems, we’re off to the Ancient Forest to hunt a Pukei-Pukei.

Be aware that Pukei-Pukei has some new tricks now in Master-Rank. He also sports far more health and poison can be much more of a nuisance. Overall this is still on the easier side of what’s to come, so take your time and chip him down. If you have Poison resistance armor or jewels, it is definitely worth equipping them.

As usual, bring either Thunder, Water, or Ice elemental weapons. Aim for the head, wings, or tail as they are the weak points. It is worth making some Master-Rank Poison Resist Armour from this quest as one of the upcoming fights features a TON of poison damage. Give it some thought.
