Nigh Plains Recruitment Guide
The Nigh Plains is the first area you’ll come to outside of Flotia and is a great place to begin your hunt to recruit some new Digimon residents for the town. The Digimon below are ordered by their appearance in the Field Guide that is accessible in-game, not necessarily in the easiest order to obtain them.
Biyomon
Biyomon can be recruited once you’ve already recruited Birdramon. Simply speak to her after Birdramon has already joined Flotia and she’ll join the town as well. Once she joins Flotia you’ll find her in the Central Sender area, speak to her every 5 uses of the Sender feature to receive 5 free Auto Pilot items from her.

Patamon
Patamon is likely the first Digimon you’ll recruit for Flotia. He’s waiting just outside the city and will challenge you to an easy fight as you first leave. Defeat him and he’ll join the city and open the new Warehouse Facility which allows you to store excess items.

Tentomon
You’ll find Tentomon standing in the center of the map, to the east of the river in the center. He will join the city if you purchase a Recovery Disc from him for 100 BIT’s. Once recruited he’ll head over to the Business District and begin selling recovery items in the Item Shop, a really handy addition to the town and you’ll be visiting him often.

Palmon
Palmon is found near the exit to Server Desert on the west side of the map. They want you to hand over three items; a Cheerful Apple, Digistalk, and Salty Fruit. All of these can be found in the area you’re currently in. You start the game with several Digistalks, Cheerful Apples are available near the trees by the exit to the Old Cableway. Salty Fruit can also be found in the Forest Path area underneath trees. Hand all the items over and Palmon will join the town and head straight to the Agricultural District to help out in the Fields, this will increase the yields that the fields produce whenever you visit.

Wormmon
Be very careful approaching Wormmon, he is dangerously close to some Vegiemon who will probably give you a lot of trouble if you catch their eye. Speak to him and he’ll ask you to obtain a Strong Branch for him. It’s found at one of the gathering points in the Forest Path area back near the entrance at a yellow gathering point, just be careful to avoid the Vegiemon as you move around. Bring it back to him and he’ll create a Fishing Rod for you with it, he’ll then join Flotia. When you find him in town, speak to him to have him let you know what your Digimon’s favorite and least favorite foods are.

Renamon
Renamon is available to recruit after you’ve already obtained both Wormmon and Taomon for your city. Taomon will join naturally as part of the story as it progresses. Renamon wants you to give her a Digicarp so that she can cook a dish to impress Taomon in the Restaurant. Digicarp can be caught anywhere you can fish in the Nigh Plains. This will require you to have the fishing rod that you get by recruiting Wormmon. Digicarp is also a fairly rare fish so it might take you a few goes to fish it up, once you do, present it to Renamon and she’ll join the city.

Kabuterimon
You can find Kabuterimon in the Old Cableway area of Nigh Plains. He is seeking a strong opponent to battle and will happily fight you. If you win he joins Flotia and allows you to improve your Training Hall gear. Be warned that he is quite strong but has low HP and defense. So hitting him hard straight away can be a great way to get through the fight.

Kuwagamon
Kuwagamon can be found in the Power Plant #2 area of Nigh Plains. Speak to him and he’ll request you find some Royal Digijelly for him. You’ll find a unique search point about halfway down the Forest Path area that when searched, you’ll receive the Royal Digijelly. Return and hand it over for him and he’ll leave to join the city. You’ll then be able to find him at night and in the early evenings in the Training Hall area, he’ll hand over a Sakura Bird Radish each day, if one of your partners eats it, it will boost the training gains they receive.

Numemon
Numemon is located along the Forest Path area of Nigh Plains. Be careful here as you won’t want to accidentally start a battle with the nearby Veggiemon. Speak to him and he’ll request 5x Green Digistalks. These can be found at collection points all throughout the Nigh Plains and respawn if you enter and exit areas as well. Grab 5 and return to hand them over, he’ll start a battle with you and once defeated he will join Flotia. You’ll find him by the Toilet in the Central District. Each day he’ll hand out one Portable Toilet item for free to you, which is actually very useful, especially in the early game.

Meicoomon
Meicoomon’s Riddle
During Chapter 2 you’ll receive a Digi-Mail from Meicoomon. It will arrive in your Ex Scenario’s mailbox so keep an eye out for it. He’ll ask you to meet him and give you a clue as to where he is, head over to the Old Cableway area to find him. He’ll ask you to defeat a strong Digimon that has appeared in the Vast Plateau, head back there to find a Growlmon (Orange). Defeat Growlmon and return to Meicoomon, he’ll then give you another riddle.
Head to Guts Waste this time over in the Ohguino Wastelands, here on the map you’ll find a windy path leading south to the Server Desert. When you’re looking at the map, just to the right of where the winding path south starts, you’ll find an item on the ground, interact with it to trigger an ambush. A group of Piddomon will attack, defeat them and then return to Meicoomon. He will then attack you himself. Defeat him to obtain a Feliprudentine, which allows your partner to digivolve into Meicoomon.
This begins the recruitment questline for Meicoomon. It will only complete once the following quests are finished:
- “Meicoomon’s Riddle” Extra Scenario
- “Revival: The Three Gods of Ruin and …!” Extra Scenario
- Flotia reaches a prosperity rating above 175.
- This will all unlock the final quest that results in recruiting Meicoomon is then “The Crimson Claw Strikes Back”.
