Off The Beaten Path – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 1-Star Hub Quest; Off The Beaten Path. We’re off to the Shrine Ruins to slay 20 Izuchi or Altaroth. You’ll find the location of the groups of Izuchi and Altaroth highlighted on the map so they’ll be no issue to track down.
My friend and I heard about this amazing secret spot up in the Shrine Ruins where you can relax and watch the Torchbugs glow. We wanted to take a hike up there and check it out, but there’s a bunch of monsters in the way…
Monster Hunter Rise
Izuchi are the small versions of the Great Izuchi, they look like small dinosaurs. Altaroth are small insects that crawl around various parts of the map, you can tell its them by the glowing orbs on their backs. Head around the area’s marked on your map and slay 20 total of any combination of the creatures for the quest to automatically turn in.
Carves from Low-Rank Izuchi can include; Izuchi Tail, Izuchi Pelt, and Sharp Claws.
You can carve Altaroth Stomach, Altaroth Jaw, Monster Fluid, Ripened Mushroom, Nulberry, Honey, and Fine Stomach from Low-Rank Altaroth.
