Here you’ll find Guides for each of the Shrines found in The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. We have broken the Shrines up by map area to make it easier to find as there are so many. Shrines can be completed in any order during the course of the game. All are designed to be completed with the Runes that you’ll unlock while on the Great Plateau at the start of the game.

Shrine Guides

Each Shrine Guide features video walkthroughs for each of the included Shrines. We’ll also be adding written walkthroughs for each Shrine over time. Some Shrines will have an associated Shrine Quest you’ll need to complete in order to either find or access the Shrine.

Spirit Orbs

Each Shrine you complete will award you a Spirit Orb, 4 Spirit Orbs can be traded in for a boost to either HP or Stamina for Link. You’ll also need a certain amount of HP before Link can successfully obtain the Master Sword as well.

Shrine Teleportation

Once you’ve found a Shrine and activated it, you can teleport back to it any time you want, even if you haven’t completed it yet. This allows for easy access back to Shrines you may not have been able to complete when first unlocking it. You’ll also find a Shrine near most points of interest on the map, which makes them a handy network for traveling anywhere you might need to go.
