So Hot It Melts Iron – Monster Hunter Rise

Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 4-Star Quest, So Hot It Melts Iron. We’re off to the Lava Caverns to gather Coal from Scorched Ore for delivery.

Where I’m from, if you want to make good equipment, ya gotta use lots of Coal. Maybe Kamura has some fancy pants way of doing it without coal, but we ain’t got the facilities like you folks do here. Can you go get me some?

Monster Hunter Rise

You can obtain the Coal from the Scorched Ore gathering points littered around the map. These points will also respawn if you wait long enough, just in case you can’t find some of the later ones, you can revisit earlier ones to harvest from again. Once you have enough they’ll automatically be turned in and you’ll complete the quest.
