Spongy Oasis – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 3-Star Quest, Spongy Oasis. We’re off to the Flooded Forest to hunt a Royal Ludroth. You’ll find the location of the Royal Ludroth highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
You know how Royal Ludroth hide is all spongey and absorbs lots of water, right? If we get a bunch of it, then desert farmers will never have to worry about watering their crops ever again! I. AM. A. GENIUS!
Monster Hunter Rise
Royal Ludroth is a Leviathan Class Large Monster found in the Flooded Forest and Lava Caverns. It is weak to Fire, Thunder, and Ice elements.
Royal Ludroth will lose some of its abilities to inflict waterblight if you can manage to fight it on land away from water. He likes to do rolling attacks if you stand to either side of him to attack, to stop this try to either aim for the tail or the side of the head. Focusing on either of these areas should give you enough time to get out of the way of the rolling attacks.
