Trapping The Tree Thrasher Optional Quest Monster Hunter World Iceborne

Our next optional quest is the Master-Rank Banbaro capture quest, Trapping The Tree Thrasher. We’re headed off to the Ancient Forest to trap a Banbaro.

You’ve fought Banbaro a couple of times by now so his moveset should be no surprise. You do need to be mindful that this is obviously a capture quest, so bring spare traps and tranqs. Since this fight is in the Ancient Forest you wont need to worry about him inflicting elemental blights either.

Banbaro is weakest to Fire and Dragon elements. Its weak points are the head and back legs. You can also break or sever its horns, back legs, and tail.
