A Crown of Mud and Anger Optional Quest

Our next Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World is called “A Crown of Mud and Anger”. It sees us off to the Wildspire Waste to hunt a Barroth.

Barroth is weak to Ice normally and weak to water when it is covered in mud. However, its weak to fire when it has no mud on its body. To be safe if you are trying to abuse elemental weaknesses just stick to Ice.

Barroths weak points are the arms and tail. Its breakable points are the legs, arms, head and the tail can be severed for an extra carve.

At High-Rank Barroth carves will include the following; Barroth Ridge +, Barroth Claw +, Barroth Carapace, Barroth Scalp, and Wyvern Gem.
