A Rotten Request Optional Quest Monster Hunter World

Chef Quest! A Rotten Request is an Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World. Once you reach Hunting Rank 11 or higher you can accept this quest from the Meowscular Chef to help him out and expand the Cafeteria’s menu.

He asks that we head over to the Rotten Vale and defeat 10 Girros monsters. Girros are very easy to find and a large pack usually follows behind a Great Girros if you happen to run into him.

The easiest locations to find Girros are areas 6,7 and 9 on the second floor of the Rotten Vale. Girros are not difficult to defeat, however if you are struggling consider taking armour with skills such as; Effluvia Resistance and Paralysis Resistance, to negate most of the negative effects that Girros or the Rotten Vale cause.

Girros are weak to Water elemental damage and can inflict paralysis with their attacks.

At low-rank Girros can be carved for; Girros Hide, Girros Scale and Girros Fang.
