A Test Of Courage – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 6-Star Quest, A Test Of Courage. We’re off to the Shrine Ruins to hunt a Magnamalo. You’ll find the location of the Magnamalo highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
I’m no scaredy-cat the Shrine Ruins are haunted! HAUNTED, I tell ya! There was this big scary shadow with fireballs all around it and a ghost glowing in the distance surround by souls! Even meow I get chills just thinking about it! HELP!
Monster Hunter Rise
Magnamalo is a Fanged Wyvern Class Monster found in the Shrine Ruins, Frost Islands, and Lava Caverns. It is weak to Water and Thunder elemental damage.
You’ve fought Magnamalo a few times by now so this shouldn’t be an issue. When it starts to collect Hellfire on itself, you’ll need to attack that part of it to dispel it. Using Wirebug moves while your inflicted with Hellfire will leave explosive spots on the ground that you can lure it to, to knock it over.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Magnamalo can include; Magnamalo Scale, Magnamalo Shell, Magnamalo Blade, Magnamalo Scute, Magnamalo Tail, Magna Ghostprism, Magnamalo Plate, Magnamalo Horn, and Wyvern Tear.
