Bazelgeuse is a large monster that appears in many of the Monster Hunter title games. It is classified as a Flying Wyvern and attacks using Fire and Explosive elements. Typically weak to Thunder, Dragon, Ice, and Water.
Weapons made from Bazelgeuse parts typically include the explosive element, while armor made from its parts will grant you resistance to fire elemental damage, as well as Guard and Bombardier skills.
A nefarious flying wyvern that travels the New World in search of prey. It scatters explosive scales over a wide area to prey on whatever gets caught in the blast.

In Monster Hunter World and its Iceborne Expansion, you can wound its Head, Wings, and Tail. Carrying Dung Pods with you for quests will help to reduce how annoying this monster can be. Simply fire one of the Dung Pods at it when it arrives to have it leave.
Bazelgeuse Carapace
Rare Bazelgeuse material. Mostly obtained as a reward. Solid, used to craft gear.
Bazelgeuse Carapace is obtained from High-Rank Bazelgeuse. You can carve it from both the body and tail, as well as obtain it from quest rewards.

Bazelgeuse Gem is obtained in many different ways. The highest chance is obtaining it as a Gold Investigation Reward for a quest involving Bazelgeuse. Otherwise simply farming as many Bazelgeuse as possible is the next best option, as it can be carved, or obtained as a quest reward.
