Be One With The Bow – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 6-Star Hub Quest, Be One With The Bow. We’re off to the Shrine Ruins to hunt a pair of Tobi-Kadachi. You’ll find the location of both of the Tobi-Kadachi highlighted on the map so they will be no issue to track down.
Alright, Ace, lesson time! Speed, agility, and positioning are the signatures of the Tobi-Kadachi. Have you ever noticed how similar they are to the bow? Well, now you know, go see it for yourself!
Monster Hunter Rise
Tobi-Kadachi is a Fanged Wyvern Class Monster found in the Shrine Ruins and Flooded Forest. It is weak to Water, Fire, and Ice elemental damage.
Over the course of the fight, Tobi-Kadachi will attempt to charge itself. If you can inflict it with Waterblight you’ll remove its ability to charge. The easiest way to inflict it is with the Endemic Life in Area 10 of the map called the Mudbeetle. If Tobi-Kadachi reaches his charged state he will become faster and hit a little harder, most of his regular attack with gain the Thunder element as well.
Armor that resists the Thunder element will be extremely useful for this fight. If your Thunder resistance is above 20, you’ll also gain immunity to Thunderblight.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Tobi-Kadachi can include; Tobi-Kadachi Pelt +, Tobi-Kadachi Scale +, Tobi-Kadachi Membrane, Tobi-Kadachi Claw +, Tobi-Kadachi Electrode +, Thunder Sac, Wyvern Gem, Wyvern Tear, and Large Wyvern Tear.
