Can’t Kill It With Fire – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 7-Star Hub Quest, Can’t Kill It With Fire. We’re off to the Lava Caverns to hunt a Rakna-Kadaki. You’ll find the location of the Rakna-Kadaki highlighted on the map so it will be no issue to track down.
Rakna-Kadaki inhabit a select few regions, and yet one has just been sighted in the Lava Caverns… I just don’t get it-get it! All of this strange activity around the region. And now Minoto is acting strange as well…
Monster Hunter Rise
Rakna-Kadaki is a Temnoceran Class Monster found in the Sandy Plains and the Lava Caverns. It is weak to Ice elemental damage.
Most of Rakna-Kadaki’s attacks involve the Fire element, so bringing armor with high Fire Resistance will make this fight significantly easier. Try to sever the threads that bind it to the smaller Rachnoids, as this will help to limit its movement and sometimes even provide an opening for you, when it loses its balance.
If the number of Rachnoid drops the Rakna-Kadaki will hatch more, so focus your attention on the main monster and dont worry too much about the smaller ones. It is likely you’ll kill them as they get close anyway.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Rakna-Kadaki can include; Rakna-Kadaki Carapace, Rakna-Kadaki Silk, Rakna-Kadaki Glowgut, Rakna-Kadaki Sharpclaw, Rakna-Kadaki Spike, Monster Broth, Drone Substance, and Queen Substance.
