Charmed By A Queen – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 5-Star Hub Quest, Charmed By A Queen. We’re off to the Shrine Ruins to hunt a Rathian. You’ll find the location of the Rathian highlighted on the map so she’ll be no issue to track down.
Hunter Hunter HUNTER! We must go at once! As we speak the queen herself is gracing the Shrine Ruins! I must capture her majesty in all its glory! But I hear Rathian are rather…difficult to work with. Perhaps you can assist me?
Monster Hunter Rise
Rathian is a Flying Wyvern Class Monster found in the Shrine Ruins, Sandy Plains, Flooded Forest, and Lava Caverns. It is weak to both Dragon and Thunder elemental damage.
For this fight you’ll want to bring plenty of Antidotes, Rathian can inflict Poison with many of its attacks. Rathians most damaging attack is its backflip, when in a rage it can even perform two of these in a row, so be careful moving in to attack before its completed the second. Rathian can also inflict the Fireblight status with many of its attacks, you can resist this status by wearing armor with greater than 20 Fire Resistance.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Rathian can include; Rathian Scale +, Rathian Carapace, Rathian Webbing, Rathian Spike +, Inferno Sac, Monster Keenbone, Rathian Plate, Rathian Ruby, Rath Wingtalon +, Rathalos Marrow, Rathalos Medulla, Wyvern Tear, and Large Wyvern Tear.
