Dead Ringer – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 2-Star Hub Quest, Dead Ringer. We’re off to the Shrine Ruins to slay a Tetranadon. You’ll find the location of the Tetranadon highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
Me and my big mouth…I saw a picture of a Tetranadon and blurted out “It looks exactly like Master Hojo!” He overheard me and now he thinks I was talking about a Mizutsune! If he finds out the truth, he’ll croak!
Monster Hunter Rise
Tetranadon is a large Amphibian Monster found primarily in the Shrine Ruins, Frost Islands, and Lava Caverns. It is weak to Thunder, Fire, and Ice elements.
When you do enough damage to Tetranadon he will stand on his back legs and puff out his belly. During this state his damage is significantly heightened and he gains a few new attacks. Aim to stay around his back if you want to avoid the majority of the damage. From his back the only attack you’ll need to watch for is a jump attack where he slams into the ground.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Tetranadon can include; Tetranadon Hide, Tetra Carapace, Tetranadon Beak, Aqua Sac, Jumbo Bone, Tetranadon Disc, and Shiny Nacre.
