Grasp The Greatsword – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 5-Star Hub Quest, Grasp The Greatsword. We’re off to the Shrine Ruins to hunt two Bishaten. You’ll find the location of both of the Bishaten highlighted on the map so they’ll be no issue to track down.
Alright, Ace, lesson time! The Bishaten may move and attack in its own unique way, but when it hits big, it hits BIG! See for yourself what I mean, and you’ll definitely find new ways to swing a great sword!
Monster Hunter Rise
Bishaten is a Fanged Beast type Monster found in the Shrine Ruins and Flooded Forest. It is weak to Ice and Fire elemental damage.
Try to focus on one Bishaten at a time. Fighting both together can be too much to keep an eye on. Because there are multiple monsters in this quest, each will have a reduced Health Pool, making it slightly easier to take them down. For specific advice on fighting them check out the quest notes for the quest Rotten Fruit. That was another quest you should have recently completed.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Bishaten can include; Bishaten Fur +, Bishaten Feather +, Bishaten Talon +, Bishaten Horn +, Stoutbone, Bishaten Tailcase +, Beast Gem, Jumbofruit, Poisonfruit, Parafruit, Flashfruit, Beast Tear, and Large Beast Tear.
