Great Izuchi, Great Pain – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 2-Star Quest; Great Izuchi, Great Pain. We’re off to the Shrine Ruins to slay our first large monster, the Great Izuchi. You’ll find the Great Izuchi’s location highlighted on the map, so head on over once you’ve prepared.
A stupid Great Izuchi’s going crazy at the Shrine Ruins, meaning my ingredients supplier is seriously in danger! Can you deal with that dumb Great Izuchi so my supplier can deliver the ingredients?
Yomogi The Chef
Great Izuchi will constantly summon two smaller Izuchi to accompany him. While it is not neccessary to defeat them first, if you focus on using attacks with a wide area of effect, while attacking the Great Izuchi, you’ll likely defeat the smaller ones pretty quickly as well. Just be aware that he will pretty quickly call for new ones to take the place of any you defeat.
Try to take advantage of whenever his attention is focussed on one of your buddies. Having two companions with you for these fights should make things significantly easier. Keep dealing damage and make sure not to allow your HP to drop too low. He should go down without too much of an issue.
