Basarios

Basarios is a Flying Wyvern Class Monster found in the Sandy Plains and Lava Caverns. It is weak to Dragon, Thunder, Water, Fire, and Ice elemental damage.

Basarios will start off as a tough fight, until you can start to break bits of its armor and create some weakpoints. You’ll likely find your weapons bouncing for the start of this fight. Try to target the chest, once you break here your future attacks to the area will no longer bounce and life will become easier. You can also speed along the process by using barrel bombs, and baiting its charge attacks into detonating them.

Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Basarios can include; Basarios Carapace, Basarios Pleura +, Basarios Tear, Basarios Tail, Toxin Sac, Inferno Sac, Carbalite Ore, Wyvern Gem, Basarios Wing, Wyvern Tear, and Large Wyvern Tear.
