HR Barroth Arena Monster Hunter World Optional Quest

Our next Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World is the Special Arena Quest against a HR Barroth. You unlock this quest by capturing a High-Rank Barroth out in another quest.

Here in the arena Barroth doesn’t have his usual access to mud pools to roll into and refresh his mud ‘armor’. Having said that it is still recommended to take an Ice elemental weapon to take advantage of his general Ice weakness, instead of trying to knock off his mud to make him slightly more weak to Fire.

You’ve fought Barroth a number of times by now so this shouldn’t be an issue at all. Take advantage of the traps in the Arena to make it go a little faster. His arms and tail are the weak points you’ll want to aim your attacks for. Remember you can break his; head, arms, legs, and sever the tail.
