I Want Off This Ride – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 2-Star Hub Quest, I Want Off This Ride. We’re off to the Flooded Forest to hunt a Bishaten. You’ll find the location of the Bishaten highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
I was coming home FUR-OM WORK when suddenly I SAW A BISHATEN spinning on its TAIL AND SUDDENLY it started spinning AROUND ME! Then everything STARTED SPINNING! And then I started SPINNING! AND meow I can’t stop! PLEASE HELP!
Monster Hunter Rise
Bishaten is a Fanged Beast type Monster found in the Shrine Ruins and Flooded Forest. It is weak to Ice and Fire elemental damage.
Take care to avoid the fruit that Bishaten throws, it has the ability to inflict status effects like stun and poison with it. It can cause a large flashbang like effect shortly after hiding its face behind its wings, if you can time your dodge to avoid the flash you’ll have a large opening for attacking this monster. As Bishaten is quite fast, you’ll find hit and run attacks to be the most effective to wear him down, traps can also be useful for keeping him still while you get out a combo.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Bishaten can include; Bishaten Fur, Bishaten Feather, Bishaten Talon, Bishaten Horn, Jumbo Bone, Bisha Tailcase, Jumbofruit, Poisonfruit, Flashfruit, and Beast Tear.
