Memory Alloy Guide

Memory Alloy is a crafting material in Nier Automata. Crafting materials are used in upgrading your Pods and Weapons. They can be obtained as drops by defeating enemies, randomly on the map as a glowing point, or bought in stores in various locations.

Where to Find Memory Alloy

Memory Alloy is obtained in many different ways. See below for details.

Obtained as a quest reward from the following quests:

• Game Dev Machine Lvl 3
• Robo Dojo Red Belt
• Lord of the Valley
• Vanquish the Bad Bot

Obtained as a drop from the following enemies:

• Medium Biped Machine Lifeform in the City Ruins (collapsed area)

Obtained from chests in the following locations:

• In the south section, of the underground area below the Desert, you’ll find the chest guarded by a few Medium Biped Machine lifeforms.
• In the Forest Castle, in a chest in the first section guarded by 4 Biped Machines.
• In the City Ruins, you’ll find a chest on top of the Stone Arch between the Radio Tower and Pascal’s Village.

Memory Alloy can also be purchased from Emil’s Shop when it is close to the Resistance Base.
