Monkey Wrench In Your Plans – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 4-Star Quest, Monkey Wrench In Your Plans. We’re off to the Shrine Ruins to hunt a Bishaten. You’ll find the location of the Bishaten highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
In order to separate Magnamalo from the Rampage, I need to complete my device. In order to do that, I need materials from a Bishaten. One has been spotted in the Shrine Ruins. Depart at once!
Monster Hunter Rise
Bishaten is a Fanged Beast Class Monster found in the Shrine Ruins and Flooded Forest. It is weak to Ice and Fire elemental damage.
Bishaten uses the Fruit it has stored to launch attacks with various effects at the hunter. It has the ability to use a flash bomb like attack and a Poison attack, it also likes to simply lob fruit at the Hunter. If you do enough damage to it, at times it will drop its fruit and you can collect it. This fruit cannot be kept after the quest is over so make sure you throw it all back at the Bishaten for some extra damage and the chance to inflict some status effects.
This monster is highly mobile with its large spring-like tail, hit and run attacks are usually the most effective if you cannot find a clear opening.
Carves, Drops and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Bishaten can include; Bishaten Fur, Bishaten Feather, Bishaten Talon, Bishaten Horn, Jumbo Bone, Bisha Tailcase, Jumbofruit, Poisonfruit, Flashfruit, and Beast Tear.
