Out Cold – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 2-Star Quest; Out Cold. We’re off to the Frost Islands to slay a Great Baggi. You’ll find the location of the Great Baggi highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
A Great Baggi and its little fur-iends were being a nuisance in the Fur-ost Islands, so I went to teach ’em a lesson. But when I got there, I passed out. Was it the cold? Just thinking about it makes me…so…slee–ZZZzzz…
Monster Hunter Rise
Great Baggi has the same attacks and general patterns as the Great Izuchi we fought previously. Its only real change is the addition of the sleep element to its spitting attacks. Try to stick behind the monster to make the most of the openings you’ll get after it performs attacks. This will also make it more obvious when an attack is coming, as the monster will need to spin to face you.
Great Baggi is weak to Fire, Water, and Thunder. Its weak point is the Head. While its Head and Body are both breakable for more rewards at the end of the mission.
Carves, Drops and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Great Baggi can include; Great Baggi Hide, Great Baggi Claw, King’s Crest, Sleep Sac, Monster Bone M, and Wyvern Tear.
