Rabid Rabbit – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 2-Star Quest; Rabid Rabbit. We’re off to the Frost Islands to slay a Lagombi. You’ll find the location of Lagombi highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
I went hunting for some food but came across a Lagombi. I am NOT trying to get eaten by that thing. Hunter do you think you can take care of it for me, please?
Monster Hunter Rise
Lagombi has a similar moveset as the Arzuros, so you should already have a pretty good idea of how this fight will go. It does have a couple of additional unique moves, the first is its ability to throw snowballs at you. It will generally toss them high into the air, so just watch for the shadow and make sure you move away from it. The second is its ability to slide on the snow, it is very fast while performing this attack and can either move in a straight line towards you or perform several passes trying to hit you. You can actually use Sonic bombs while it is performing this attack to stun it. Sonic Bombs will NOT work if it is in a rage.
Lagombi is weak to Fire and Thunder elements.
Carves, Drops and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Lagombi can include; Lagombi Pelt, Lagombi Plastron, Lagombi Iceclaw, Jumbo Bone, Lagombi Ear, and Beast Tear.
