Fightin’ Dirty – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 3-Star Quest, Fightin’ Dirty. We’re off to the Sandy Plains to hunt a Barroth. You’ll find the location of Barroth highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
Ptoeey! Look at me! Covered from head to toe in mud! All because a stupid Barroth attacked me! Now all the mushrooms I gathered are ruined! Just great! Can you go and bash that Barroth, please!?
Monster Hunter Rise
Barroth is a Brute Wyvern found primarily in the Sandy Plains. It is weak to Fire, Dragon, and Ice elements.
Barroth can sling the mud off of its body into pools around it, entering one of these pools will greatly slow your movement speed and also reduce your ability to dodge. The ability to reduce your movement speed, combined with its charge attack can be a deadly combo. While in a rage state Barroth will also move much faster, making its charges alittle more difficult to avoid.
Carves, Drops and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Barroth can include; Barroth Shell, Barroth Ridge, Barroth Claw, Barroth Scalp, Barroth Tail, Fertile Mud, Monster Bone M, and Wyvern Tear.
