Red And Black Aces Optional Quest Monster Hunter World Iceborne
Our next Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World Iceborne is the Master-Rank Quest, Red and Black Aces. We’re off to the Ancient Forest to hunt a Nargacuga and a Rathalos. This quest will upgrade your Glider Mantle when it is completed as well. You receive this quest from the Girl at the Armory.
I’ve been goin bonkers thinkin’ about how I can upgrade your specialized tools. You go out and get me the materials I need and I’ll make sure your mantle soars to new heights! (Upgrades the Glider Mantle upon first completion.)

Rathalos and Nargacuga will have a Turf War if you can get them together at the same time. Otherwise it is best to focus on just wearing them down one at a time.
Bring a ton of flash bombs and traps, as both monsters are highly mobile. Remember that at Master-Rank both will gain immunity after a couple of flash bombs going off, so make them count. The more often you use traps on them the shorter the duration will become as well.
Both monsters are weak to the Thunder element, make sure you exploit this shared weakness.
Rathalos
Rathalos is weak to Dragon and Thunder elements. Its weak points are the head, wings, and tail. You can also break or sever its head, wings, back, and tail.
