Redefining The Power Couple Optional Quest Monster Hunter World
Redefining the Power Couple is an Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World. In it, we’re off to the Ancient Forest to hunt both a Rathalos and a Rathian, as a reward you’ll receive the Bandit Mantel. A very useful specialized tool that while being worn gives your attacks a chance to cause the monster to drop rare trade-in items. This makes hunts while wearing the Bandit Mantel great for farming zenny.
Here at the Second Fleet, we’ve been working to develop new tools to help your hunts, but we need YOUR help gathering the materials. We’re counting on you to take this quest!
Monster Hunter World Iceborne
Rathalos and Rathian share the same weaknesses which make this optional quest a little bit easier, your going to want to pack either a Dragon or Thunder element weapon. Remember that both dragons also can inflict poison with their claws and tails, so Antidote is a must. Rathalos in particular loves to fly around like a pest so also bring some flash bombs to sort that out.
Rathalos and Rathian can be a pain to fight when on the same map as they enjoy ganging up on you. If you create dungpods you can fire them at one to make it leave the area. Optionally you can simply try and only engage them when they are alone. Be warned that when one goes to the nest at low health the other will usually follow to guard it.
