Our next Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World Iceborne is the High-Rank quest Ruler Of The Azure Skies. We’re off to the Elder’s Recess to hunt the High-Rank Azure Rathalos.

Azure Rathalos is weak to Dragon and Ice elements, with minor weaknesses to Water and Thunder. Its weak points are the head, wings, and tail. You can break or sever its head, wings, body, and tail.

Azure Rathalos likes to fly a whole lot more than the regular variant. Because of this, you will need to bring flash bombs and traps to try and keep it on the ground as much as possible. Remember that while it is in the sky it also has the ability to perform multiple attacks in a row. On the ground, it does not.
