So Muddy Hardheaded! – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 2-Star Hub Quest, So Muddy Hardheaded! We’re off to the Sandy Plains to hunt a Barroth. You’ll find the location of Barroth highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
“You’re so hardheaded, you’d put a Barroth to shame!” Heh, can you believe my wife said that to me? She thinsk my head’s harder than a Barroth’s! There’s no way! So I’m goin’ out to get me a Barroth skull to prove it! And ain’t no one gonna change my mind!
Monster Hunter Rise
Barroth is a Brute Wyvern found primarily in the Sandy Plains. It is weak to Fire, Dragon, and Ice elements.
Barroth only has a couple of things you need to be aware of for this fight, the first, is that he will throw mud all over the place to trip you up and slow you down. Usually, this mud-slinging is paired with his ability to charge very quickly at you. Barroth’s Charge can be especially hard to dodge if you’re caught up in its mud or stunned. Remember to use your Wirebug if you need to escape in a pinch.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a Low-Rank Barroth can include; Barroth Shell, Barroth Ridge, Barroth Claw, Barroth Scalp, Barroth Tail, Fertile Mud, Monster Bone M, and Wyvern Tear.
