Special Arena MR Barroth Optional Quest Monster Hunter World Iceborne

Our next Optional Quest in Monster Hunter World Iceborne is the Master-Rank quest, Special Arena MR Barroth. We’re headed back to the Special Arena to face off against a Master-Rank Barroth. This quest will only unlock if you have finished to other two levels of Barroth Special Arena Quests and have captured a Master-Rank Barroth while on a quest or expedition.

Barroth has changing weaknesses, based on whether it is covered in Mud or not. Barroth is weak to Fire (immune when covered in mud), Water when covered in mud (immune to Water if not covered in mud), and has a general weakness to the Ice element in both states. Its weak points are its small front legs and tail. You can break or sever its head, arms, feet, and tail.

At Master-Rank Barroth carves will include the following; Barroth Chine, Barroth Hardclaw, Barroth Cortex, Barroth Lash, Barroth Crown, and Large Wyvern Gem.
