The Frost Islands Arena – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 4-Star Hub Quest, The Frost Islands Arena. We’re off to the Frost Islands to slay a Tetranadon. You’ll find the location of the Tetranadon highlighted on the map so he’ll be no issue to track down.
Oh~yeah! You’re going nowhere. I’ve got you for fifty minutes…Fifty minutes of huntin’ time! Heard this Tetranadon was out there talkin’ smack. You ganna stand there and take that!? Or are ya gonna go out there and put ’em in a world of hurt!?
Monster Hunter Rise
Tetranadon is a large Amphibian Monster found primarily in the Shrine Ruins, Frost Islands, and Lava Caverns. It is weak to Thunder, Fire, and Ice elements.
Tetranadon has two forms it will take during the fight. The first is on all fours and the second is when he raises himself up on his back legs and sticks out his belly. During this second form he will have greatly increased attack damage, so take extreme care. You can end this second form by repeatedly attacking his Belly though. The most dangerous of his attacks is a jump attack where he leaps into the air and comes crashing down on top of the hunter. Use your Wirebug dodge to avoid this attack and get out of its range.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Tetranadon can include; Tetranadon Hide +, Tetra Carapace +, Tetranadon Beak +, Torrent Sac, Stoutbone, Tetranadon Disc +, and Shiny Nacre.
