Absolute Power Monster Hunter World Iceborne Assignment Quest

Absolute Power Assignment Quest Monster Hunter World Iceborne

Our next Assignment Quest in Monster Hunter World Iceborne is the Master-Rank Quest, Absolute Power. We’re off to the Rotten Vale to hunt another of the returning monsters to Iceborne, the Tigrex.

New monsters are popping up everywhere due to Velkhana’s influence, even in the Rotten Vale. Head out and investigate this Tigrex. Be cautious of its piercing roar.

Client: Commander – Monster Hunter World Iceborne

Tigrex can seem very intimidating at first. He primarily uses one main attack which is a charge. He can do this multiple times in a row as well, up to 3 when not in a rage and 4 when in a rage. Dodge this charge by running perpendicular to him. He’ll usually finish the charges with either a bite attack or a spin so be careful. He’ll be open to an attack or two at the end of these charges as long as you are not greedy you can get in, hit him, and get out.

Because of his explosive speed, he will eventually tire and become substantially easier to deal with, you can speed this along if you have access to the Stamina Thief skill. Earplugs are also an excellent skill to take in this fight as he roars frequently, be aware you’ll need the skill maxed to be effective, and if you are standing too close to him you will be blown off your feet by his roar.

Tigrex is weak to Thunder and Dragon elements. Its weak points are the head, front claws, and tail. You can break or sever its head, front claws, and tail.
