Almudron Plate Guide

Almudron Plate Info:

Almudron Plate is a material in Monster Hunter Rise and its expansion, Sunbreak. Materials are typically obtained as loot from the environment, quest rewards, or by defeating monsters. Materials are usually carved off of a monster after defeating it in a hunt and are used in crafting to create or upgrade both weapons and armor.

How to Farm Almudron Plate:

Almudron Plate is typically obtained as a Carve or Quest Reward from defeating an Almudron. You can boost your chances at obtaining this material by making sure to collect all of the shiny’s that Almudron drops during your fight as well. Increase the chances of Almudron dropping materials by riding it into other monsters and allowing them to fight.

Collect Dropped Shiny Items

Dropped Shinies by Almudron have around a 1% chance of being an Almudron Plate. Collect them all whenever you see them as sooner or later you will be rewarded with the item that you’re after.

Wyvern Riding

In combination with collecting as many Shinies as possible, you can also use Wyvern Riding to trigger increased drops of Shinies in the field. Ride another monster over to Almudron and have them battle, both monsters will drop a significant amount of shiny items for you to collect. The monster being attacked, not the one you’re riding, will drop the most Shinies for collection.

Break As Many Parts As Possible

Breaking parts gives you extra chances at obtaining the item you’re after. Severing the tail will also give you an additional carve, which means an extra chance to obtain the material as well.

High-Rank Drop Chance Increase

High-Rank Monsters, or HR, have an increased chance for rare drops. If you’re strong enough to tackle Almudron in a High-Rank Quest, doing so will grant you a much higher chance of obtaining the material.
