Didn’t Get The Memo – Monster Hunter Rise
Our next quest in Monster Hunter Rise is the 4-Star Hub Quest, Didn’t Get The Memo. We’re off to the Frost Islands to slay two Great Baggi. You’ll find the location of both of the Great Baggi highlighted on the map so they’ll be no issue to track down.
I can take a Great Baggi, no problemo! But TWO!? Nobody said anything about two of ’em! I mean, maybe if I had like a heads up or something, I’d be alright. Someone should have told me! What -!? It’s written in the quest description? Com on! Nobody reads that stuff!
Monster Hunter Rise
Great Baggi is a large Bird Wyvern found primarily in the Frost Islands. It is weak to Fire, Water, and Thunder elements.
Great Baggi attack by inflicting the Sleep status effect with their breath attacks. You can counter this with armor that has Sleep Resistance, or by taking the Energy Drink item. For this quest, you’ll be facing down two Great Baggi in succession. As a rule, you’ll want to try and take them on separately instead of together. Each one is usually supported by a couple of smaller Baggi’s monsters, so taking on both groups at once is likely a bad idea.
Carves, Drops, and Rewards for slaying a High-Rank Great Baggi can include; Great Baggi Hide +, Great Baggi Claw +, Coma Sac, Bird Wyvern Gem, Monster Bone +, King’s Crest, Wyvern Tear, and Large Wyvern Tear.
